As our Senior Product Designer, you will shape the future of our product design strategy, transforming insights into intuitive and impactful designs. Your role will be crucial in driving innovation and influencing both the aesthetics and functionality of our mobile and Mac products. Responsibilities
- Lead User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and workshops to understand our community. Use insights to improve interfaces and experiences.
- Design Strategy: Develop long-term product design strategies aligned with Opal’s vision and business goals, enhancing engagement and retention.
- Deliver High-Impact Designs: Create wireframes, prototypes, and designs that combine aesthetics with seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with Engineering: Ensure design fidelity throughout implementation, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Refine and Evolve: Contribute to Opal’s design system, ensuring scalability and alignment with trends and UX best practices.
Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years in product design, with a focus on consumer apps.
- User Research Expertise: Proven ability to translate insights into actionable designs.
Tools: Advanced Figma skills; experience with Webflow and data-driven tools like Amplitude. Bonus: animation/motion design. - Monetization Design: Familiarity with designing for mobile and Mac app monetization.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented.
- Strong Design Fundamentals: Visual design expertise and a deep understanding of UX principles.
